Municipal civil protection centers have already been activated in almost all parts of Sicily, as strong winds and rain have already hit various locations on the island, causing rivers of water and mud in Scordia, Catanese region.


And the website of the Italian Civil Protection Department declared the "red level" of weather danger in eastern Sicily and in several regions of Calabria, on Sunday and Monday, and it was reported that it was difficult to drive on highways, especially in the part of the road from Palermo to Catania, and the hurricane caused on the island.
