Tunisian President: Everyone is equal before the law, and we will address all manifestations of monopoly

 Today, Wednesday, Tunisian President Kais Saied stressed the need to confront all manifestations of monopoly and speculation and to find a legal framework for distribution routes, especially after some have recently deliberately stored foodstuffs and others related to the construction, health and other sectors.



A statement issued by the Presidency of the Tunisian Republic stated that this came during the President's reception of the Minister of Trade and Export Development, Fadila Al-Rabihi Ben Hamza, at the Carthage Palace.


The Tunisian president stressed that everyone is equal before the law, pointing out that everyone who believes that he can hide behind a certain party will bear the responsibility with the party that covers him, but also works to increase tension in social conditions and abuse citizens in their daily lives.


It is noteworthy that Tunisian President Kais Saied expressed his confidence in his country's ability to overcome the crisis it is going through and find the desired financial balances thanks to the tireless work and the involvement of all male and female citizens inside and outside Tunisia.


Said stressed - during his supervision of the work of the Council of Ministers at the Carthage Palace - that the financial resources that will be collected will be under the direct supervision of the Presidency of the Republic and the Presidency of the Government so that no penny is spent except on what is allocated to it.


The President explained that the state structures are continuing and working in an active manner, and he also stressed the full coordination and common will between the Presidency of the Republic and the Presidency of the Government and with all other institutions, stressing that the exceptional measures will be eased, and that he will consider in an upcoming Cabinet the text related to the dialogue that was proposed and which It will be organized in an innovative way with Tunisians at home and abroad.


Said pointed out that Tunisia has entered a new phase in its history that is different from the previous phases and requires devising new concepts and tools for managing public affairs outside traditional frameworks and concepts.


The president renewed his keenness to guarantee the rights and freedoms stipulated in the text of the constitution, noting that exceptional measures had been taken to save the state and the people, adding that democracy must be real, not on the surface of freedom and discord and hypocrisy in its interior.
